Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Manager Anica is the best! She truly went above and beyond to make our stay at Winnetu unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared that our family had an incredible experience. Anytime we had a question or needed anything, Anica handled it quickly with a smile. The Winnetu is already a beautiful resort, but employees like Anica are what make it truly special. Her professionalism, kindness, and commitment to exceptional service set the standard for hospitality. We can’t wait to come back, and a big reason is knowing we’ll be welcomed by people like Anica. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable!

We had the best stay at the Winnetu! So many small details really made it an amazing stay. The rooms were spacious, CLEAN, and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the front yard watching the kids play. The walk to the beach was so nice! There were so many activities for the kids, including the kids club! Laura and Lizzie made it a wonderful stay for our 3 and 5 year old. The shuttle into edgartown was convenient. We enjoyed meals at the dunes and loved mingling with Innocent, Jessie, Chip and Karen! Kavon made our fire truck ride extra special. We also have to praise Matt Moore- he is an amazing leader and it really trickles down to create a great culture amongst the staff here. Th...

We just returned from a week-long stay at the Winnetu Oceanside Resort and it was an amazing experience for our family. Our cottage was well appointed and incredibly comfortable. However it is the daily programming is what sets the Winnetu apart. Our toddler spent every morning at the Kids Camp and she absolutely loved it. Laura runs a fantastic camp and every aspect of the children’s programming was seamless. Not only was the morning programming engaging for young guests but but our daughter loved the kids corner at the Dunes and the frequent nighttime programming which meant my husband and I were able to enjoy some evenings on island exploring and dining at our favorite spots. While our ch...

We had an amazing stay at Winnetu! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and always seemed happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was even nicer than the pictures, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. We loved being just a short walk from South Beach, which was one of the prettiest beaches we visited on Martha’s Vineyard. The biggest hit was all the activities for the kids. There was always something going on, and they had an absolute blast. We also appreciated little conveniences like the on-site laundry room, which made our stay so much easier. We had dinner at The Dunes one night and really enjoyed it. Another highlight was taking the resort’s water taxi ...
