Terms of Service

New England Celebrations is a planning tool for weddings and corporate events in Vermont and New Hampshire. You can build a checklist of services, browse local vendors, see a running budget, and place a small refundable hold on the vendors you love, all before picking up the phone.

We research every business we list by hand. Some listings are in a soft preview stage while we confirm details, so a few prices and photos are clearly marked as placeholders until each vendor approves them.

When you place a $49 hold on a vendor, that vendor is reserved for you for 24 hours. The hold is fully refundable. If the vendor is not confirmed within 24 hours, the hold expires automatically and your $49 is refunded, no questions asked.

A hold is an introduction, not a contract. It asks the vendor to reach out to you promptly and to keep that time open in good faith. Your actual booking, price, and agreement are made directly between you and the vendor.

Some vendors also offer a larger "lock it in" deposit after you have spoken with them. That amount, when shown, belongs to the vendor's own booking terms and we will always show it to you before you commit.

Vendor profiles are created and priced by the New England Celebrations team. Average prices are starting points drawn from our research and conversations with each business; final quotes come from the vendor itself.

Ratings and review counts come from publicly available sources, such as Google, and we link to them so you can read the originals. We do not write or alter reviews.

If you are a vendor and something on your profile is not right, contact us and we will correct it quickly. Vendors may be marked temporarily unavailable, in which case we will show you the next lovely available option.

Vendor listings are created and priced by our team, and vendors sign in to manage their own story, pricing, availability, and photos. Vendors agree that the information they publish is accurate, that they hold any licenses their work requires, and that they will honor the 24 hour holds placed through the platform in good faith.

Hold and deposit payments are processed by our payment partner at the time of your booking. We never store your card details. Refunds for expired holds are returned to your original payment method.

You are responsible for the information you give us, including your email address, and for keeping your sign in details private. If you share a vendor story on Facebook, Pinterest, or anywhere else, thank you: please share honestly and kindly.

We may remove listings or accounts that behave badly toward vendors, couples, or our team.

We promise to keep the platform working, to refund expired holds promptly, and to be honest about what we know and do not know about each vendor.

We cannot promise a specific vendor will be free on your date, and we are not a party to the agreement you make with a vendor. The service is provided as is, to the fullest extent the law allows.
