Planning an event means sharing a few personal details, and we treat that as a privilege. Here is exactly what we collect, why we need it, and what happens to it. Plain language, no surprises.

1. What we collect

When you browse vendors or read stories, you need no account and we collect nothing personal about you beyond ordinary website logs.

When you start planning an event, we ask for your email address, your event type (wedding or corporate), your city, and the vendors you are considering. When you place a $49 hold, we also ask for your name, phone number, and payment details, which our payment partner handles directly.

If you are a vendor, we keep the profile information you manage: your story, pricing, availability, photos, and sign in email.

2. Why we collect it

Your email, name, and phone let the vendors you hold reach out to you, and let us keep your budget and shortlist waiting for you. Your event type and city help us show the right vendors and keep your planning realistic.

We also send hold details to our customer care team so a real person can follow up and make sure a vendor contacted you. That is the extent of it: we do not sell your information, ever.

3. Who sees your details

The vendors you place a hold on see your name, email, phone number, event type, and city, because they need it to call you. Our payment partner sees only what it needs to process your refundable hold. Our own small team can see your planning details when helping you.

Nobody else gets your details unless the law requires it.

4. Cookies and sign in

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your planning session. We do not run advertising trackers. Sharing buttons for Facebook and Pinterest work only when you click them.

5. How long we keep things

Your event build and shortlist stay until you ask us to remove them, so you can come back and pick up where you left off. Holds that expire are cleared automatically after 24 hours, and the hold record is kept only for accounting. Vendor accounts stay while a listing is active.

6. Your choices

You can ask us at any time to send you a copy of your details, correct them, or delete your event build entirely. Write to our team with the email you used to plan, and mention "privacy" in your note, and we will take care of it promptly.

7. Security

Your data is stored with an encrypted, professionally managed cloud database, and access inside our team is limited to the people who need it. We never store your full card details.
