Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a entertainment partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

OMG Beantown was UNBELIEVABLE. We had multiple guests say they were the best wedding band they had ever seen!! Our dance floor was packed the entire night. They really kept the energy up and they did an amazing job accommodating our requests and every member of the band is insanely talented. The band owner, Anita, was a joy to work with leading up to the wedding. We highly recommend Beantown! You can't beat this wedding band!

The first question anyone asks about music at a wedding is "DJ or band?" Ultimately, it comes down to a choice between someone pressing play on songs you know, which can be high energy but has no authenticity or soul, versus a band sleepily crooning and oftentimes butchering your favorites. The DJ gets people on the dance floor but leaves them feeling empty. The band just empties the dance floor. Either way, it's a compromise. Not with Beantown. From the moment we hired them, they took a profound interest in not just our list of favorite songs, but a deep understanding of who we were as people, the sounds that get us moving, the sounds that tug at our heartstrings, and a clear-eyed grasp o...

The Connection was AMAZING for our wedding! Our guests truly did not leave the dance floor! We started with a 20 minute set before dinner which started the night off strong. Then, the band perfectly read the room all night playing hit after hit! The energy of the band was so fun - coming into the crowd to dance, showing off their choreography, and of course the sax solos! Wilson Stevens was also incredible to work with prior to the event. The band provided recordings of our first dance song & a mashup of songs for the father-daughter dance for us to practice to!

Wilson Steven’s has been nothing short of amazing throughout our entire wedding planning and day of experience with them! From having personal conversations with the owners to thorough direction while fine tuning the details, Wilson Steven’s really out did themselves. We felt informed and at ease throughout it all. And when it came to the main event—our band Splash! absolutely killed it!!! Everyone was on the dance floor for the whole night! They really made our wedding night so special and we are so so grateful! If you are on the fence about booking with them, this is your sign to take the leap! They are AWESOME!!!!

We had Wilson Stevens Band (Eye2Eye) at our wedding a few weeks ago and I cannot emphasize enough how amazing our experience was!! The talent was incredible, they did such a good job of mixing in different types of songs, alternating between different vibes and catering to all age groups throughout the evening. They managed to have the dance floor packed with everyone ranging from our young cousins to all of the grandparents. In the weeks after our wedding, we have gotten so many comments from guests about how amazing and fun the band was. The wedding planning process can be stressful and overwhelming, but I can confidently say that booking Eye2Eye was easily the best decision we made. We a...
