Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

My husband and I got married last February at Wild Sugar Homestead. We were originally set for a July wedding date but when we found out we'd be 8 months pregnant on our intended wedding date, Erik and Hallie kindly accommodated a switch of dates! Here are my top reasons why I'm SO glad we got married at Wild Sugar: 1. It's an absolute oasis for family time and connection with nature. Every day we hiked and cross country skied on the gorgeous trails around the house, then came in to warm up by the fire. There were constant kitchen projects churning out drinks and snacks so our two families could be comfortable and cozy together. 2. Erik managed our day-of coordination and Hallie took our ...

My husband and I got married at Wild Sugar this past weekend and it was everything we could have imagined. Erik and Hallie are the most down to earth people and will go above and beyond to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams! It is truly a one of a kind spot!

Our group of friends had a wonderful stay at Wild Sugar Homestead. The property is absolutely gorgeous and there’s so much to explore. Our stay was during the winter and the house was so cozy (especially while curled up in the living room around the large fireplace.) Some of us cross country skied through the trails on the property. Our group, including children, took a beautiful hike in the woods just a few minutes walk down the road. The house is very thoughtfully designed and had everything you need to feel at home. We look forward to returning in the warmer months. Would highly recommend a trip to this lovely property.

Wild Sugar is magical. Incredible land, incredible living spaces, and best of all it’s run by a truly lovely couple. Perfect for weddings, a cozy winter vacation with friends, or just a dose of inspiration. Happy to report I’ve experienced all three.

We had the BEST experience hosting our wedding at Wild Sugar Homestead! The house was amazing, the grounds were stunning, and the hosts were fabulous. Everything was so clean, simple, beautiful, .. just perfection. Apple orchards, acres of field views and mountain backdrop, fresh picked flowers, stargazing, and more. Erik was so helpful getting us organized and set up prior to the event and let us know everything we needed to know logistically, and Hallie took the most amazing photos! We can’t wait to go back one day and relive the memories. I would highly recommend to anyone to plan their Wild Sugar getaway!
