Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Whiteface Hollow is such a picturesque place for a wedding. The barn is beautiful, the outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous, and there are so many great spots for photos throughout the property. The staff is always so kind and welcoming, and they do a great job making the whole day feel effortless. Looking forward to photographing more weddings here!

Whiteface Hollow is simply the BEST! This was the first venue we toured after inquiring about so many, it was truly love at first sight. We continued to look at others to have something to compare it to, however nothing measured up and we knew that we had to come back for a second tour. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we decided this was the perfect place to start our forever. The venue is stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains and beautifully maintained landscape that provided an elegant woodsy backdrop for our special day. If you’re lucky enough to catch one, the sunsets here are also exceptional. This is a family owned and operated venue, and it shows by how much...

We had an amazing wedding weekend at Whiteface Hollow. Jazz and Adam were absolutely wonderful. It ended up being a pretty rainy weekend and they had a plan every step of the way and the wedding turned out beautifully. The house we stayed in onsite was perfect. There was room for the wedding party and was very functional for a large group of people with a huge kitchen and dining room. Some of our guests got to stay in the cabins on the grounds and the barn is beyond beautiful. Their attention to detail is exactly what we needed.

We had the best time documenting our first wedding at this gorgeous, rustic wedding venue in New Hampshire! As you drive through the crowded lakes region, you come into what feels like pure wilderness. There are some farms and old homes along the way, but at the end of a long gravel road you arrive at Whiteface Hollow and it truly feels you've discovered a hidden gem! This venue features a fully refurbished barn with old timber frames and two balconies (with additional seating if needed!). We loved using the balcony to get a different angle during the dancing! Although this venue is under new ownership, everything was taken care of an accounted for on the wedding day. Caterers were on top ...

We had the most perfect wedding day at Whiteface hollow. The Mountain view’s are the best around which is the biggest reason for choosing this venue. My husband and I love to travel, hike and adventure so we wanted our wedding to have that adventurous spirit to it and this place did exactly that. The owner, Jennifer, is the other reason we selected this venue. She is the sweetest soul and made us feel like family instantly. She is personable and super friendly. She lets you do your thing and bring your vision to life. I loved staying there for the whole weekend (Thursday to Sunday). It allowed us to settle in and get a lot setup before the wedding day without stress. Most of our guests were ...
