Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Our stay here was FANTASTIC! We had a lovely suite for our stay. The dinner package was definitely worth purchasing in advance. All the food was wonderful and the servers were very good. This is a beautiful location, and there is a lot to do within about 10-45 minutes of driving distance. We didn't use all of the amenities, as we were on the go most of the time. I highly recommend this resort.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel, starting this past August 1. It was our first visit, and we were incredibly impressed. Beautiful setting underneath a sheer rock cliff, with the hotel lobby, restaurant and rooms all updated and modern. The service from the staff was exemplary, especially during meals at Ledges -- shout out to both Chrissy and Jimmy for going above and beyond to always make our girls happy. We'll definitely be back!

While the location of White Mountain Hotel is lovely, the amenities and basic rooms leave something to be desired. We stayed over for a single night, ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and left in the early morning. The dining experience was very good, with delicious meals and signature cocktails. There was a nice outdoor patio with a beautiful view of the cliffside, and some gas fire lighting for ambience. Where things got disappointing was the size of our room (single king sized bed) and the amenities. The latter included a pool not much bigger than a residential one, and hot tub that might fit in a bathroom. For a $300+ overnight I expected better. However, the staff was friendly...

What an amazing experience! This hotel is stunning, updated, and welcoming. My husband and I stayed here with our 20 month old son and even on days when we chose to stay at the hotel felt like a vacation. The pool was perfect, the views were spectacular and the food was delicious. Plus the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We already are planning to come back on our next New Hampshire getaway.

Location is really great, peaceful, beautiful, close to amenities. Heated pool (outside) was really warm in cold March, sauna was one of the best, the whole place is cozy, well-appointed, classy. We did 4 friends in two rooms, everyone loved it. Loved the bar and restaurant area, very nice, cozy and fun. One thing, for rooms saying they face the parking lot for a view, do not let that discourage you. There are views on all sides, good ones of cliffs or mountains. I don't think they did a great job explaining that in the website. This place exceeded expectations.

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
