Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

My wife Erin and I attended a wedding here in 2023 and knew we wanted to get married here as soon as we stepped foot in the venue. We don't know where to begin with this review because there are endless, positive things to say about this place. We got married here on June 27th, 2026. The owners, Angela & Dean, and their daughter Ellis, are so welcoming and helped us make our special day become everything we wanted it to be. Our wedding took almost 2 years of planning and saving up for, but Angela and her team were there every step of the way to make sure we got everything we needed. The venue barn, landscaping, surrounding views, and craftsmanship of the Farmhouse made it the PERFECT spot to...

Absolutely amazing!! The team is simply wonderful - beautiful grounds, fantastic attention to detail, fabulous people. Vermont Swiss and Bloom Farm was the best choice we could have made for our daughter’s wedding venue.

We got married at Vermont Swiss and Bloom Farm this past May, and it exceeded expectations. Due to rain, we had to move our ceremony inside, and the team (Angie, Dean, and Ellis) was ready to do anything and everything to make sure we had the ceremony and reception we wanted. They are a kind, hardworking team who you not only want, but need, on your side for your wedding day. Not to mention the gorgeous barn and property. Thank you for the amazing day!

My husband and I stumbled upon Vermont Swiss and Bloom Farm, and knew we had to look at it for our wedding venue. The moment we stepped into the barn we knew it was the spot. What makes this place so special is it is the original barn with active corn farming. It wasn't built to be a wedding venue, Angela and Dean kept the barn exactly what it was and made it into the most perfect space, seamlessly adding bathrooms and the bar area. Being able to stay on site for our wedding was important to us, and the on site farmhouse was perfect. We were able to hold 14 of us comfortably, as well as host our rehearsal dinner and morning of activities. Waking up to the view from the farmhouse each morning...

We just had the wedding of our dreams at Vermont Swiss and Bloom Farm. Angela and her family are wonderful people and went above and beyond to ensure things ran smoothly for us. They were all very easy to work with and had tons of insight on little details that we otherwise may not have considered when planning. Everyone made sure the schedule moved along and that we were well taken care of throughout the weekend, and if anything did go wrong they did a great job shielding us from it because we had no idea! There are many options and backup options for the ceremony and photos to accommodate the weather, but we were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail ...
