Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We had a wonderful experience working with this catering team! They were professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and they took great care of the guests throughout the event. Their team worked seamlessly with all of the vendors, making the day run smoothly. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional food and outstanding service!

We had an amazing experience with Twelve 31 Events for our wedding catering! Michael was incredibly helpful, personable, and communicative throughout the days leading up to the wedding and especially on the day itself. He handled our special requests with such care and paid close attention to all the little details that made the day feel seamless and enjoyable for both us and our guests. As a bride, it was such a relief knowing everything was being handled so thoughtfully. The food and service were wonderful, and we truly appreciated the effort the team put into making our wedding day special. We would absolutely recommend Twelve 31 Events for future events and catering services!

My wife and I got married last summer, where we had a private wedding in a field, under a tent. Mike and his team were amazing at every step of the way: pricing was transparent, we were able to do samples in person, answered our many questions right away and was very accommodating. The food was spectacular and our day wouldn't have been the same without it!

Even with some drastic plan changes, Michael and Melissa were able to accommodate to add that special touch of delicious food to our wedding! All our guests complimented the meals and brought leftovers home with them! Such a beautiful set up, made our wedding extra special!

I am not a great cook, so when I entertain with a meal, I have them make it. I pick up the food the day before, keep itin my fridge, heat it up in my oven (heating times are 20-60 minutes depending on the meal for half trays), and I am able be "present" at the party instead of cooking. Clean up and left-overs are also easy with the disposable trays and aluminum tops.
