Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

The Inn is a perfect, walkable location to downtown. Jarrett allowed us to park in the lot before check-in so we could explore the town. The beds were the most comfortable and permitted a perfect nights sleep. The outdoor area was so serene and picturesque. We loved the charm and the history. THIS BREAKFAST IS THE MOST UNREAL BREAKFAST YOU WILL EVER HAVE!!! The ambiance from the smooth jazz, to the fresh flowers on the table, to the candle on the table, and the lighting was absolutely astounding. The parfaits with fresh fruit were delectable, the coffee was wonderfully strong, and the waffles were heavenly. Heather is the kindest, sweetest person and she even came to talk to us during breakf...

Had the most fantastic stay here! What a great introduction to Vermont! This b&b has it all - warm hospitality and staff, all the Victorian charm and detail, access to so many places in town and within a short drive plus delicious breakfasts and dinner! The hosts (and the room binder!) have everything covered - dining and activity recommendations, the history of the Inn, and things to know to make your stay perfect. Highly recommend, both the Inn and the Vic Tavern. Thank you Heather and staff!

We loved the Village Inn in Woodstock. Great place to experience the magical town of Woodstock especially during the Wassail Weekend. I wanted to have a Hallmark Christmas Moment and this visit definitely fit the bill! Heather and her wonderful staff treated us like family (or maybe even a bit better!! ) They made our joint birthday celebrations so special. The breakfasts were wonderful. The room was great with all its personal touches. If we needed anything all we had to do was ask. Everyone who stayed there were fun and easy to visit with over breakfast or drinks in the afternoon by the fire place. We ate dinner at Vic's Tavern the first night and it was amazing! We dined at a few other pl...

I stayed at the Village Inn of Woodstock for my daughter's wedding weekend and the experience was like staying with favorite friends. Heather and her team were lovely, making sure that I had the best experience possible. The home is gorgeous, the rooms and shared spaces beautifully appointed, the location central and walkable, and the food! Oh my, the food - exceptional. I will definitely return here again.
