Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I loved the two rooms with a bath because my adult daughter and I travel together. We also liked that my son's family was right across the hall from us. We kept the door open and visited back and fourth. We all liked Little Auk because of the variety offered on the menu. Even the teen and pre-teen liked it. At our room, the balcony seating was just what we needed to appreciate the view and the ocean breeze. The pool area had plenty of umbrellas and lounges. I loved, loved loved being able to get to the beach on the van and when we arrived, we found that our chairs and umbrella had been set up! The housekeeping staff was a delight and always helped us out with extra towels. May I ask for one ...

Such a hidden gem in York, perfect for a getaway. We went during the offseason so the pool and restaurant were not open but grounds are beautiful, amazing views and top notch customer service. Rooms are very modern and cozy and the spa/ massage offerings are amazing. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

My wife and I stayed at The Viewpoint in York this weekend to celebrate her birthday, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The room was incredible—clean, comfortable, and the view of Nubble Lighthouse was truly breathtaking. Waking up to that view alone made the trip special. The spa experience was hands down the best massage we’ve ever had. It was so relaxing and well done that we would honestly come back just for that. On top of everything, the service was great. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Great views of the water from the room. Loved the sauna which seats 6 people. The viewing rest room was a quiet retreat as well. Eco friendly supplies in the rooms were nice. The workout center tho small has nice equipment. Clean, friendly and a calming retreat.

Wow! Loved it! We stayed in a lower shore-room, it was so unique. With the balcony doors open you can hear the waves rolling against the rocks. Got up for the sunrise and went closer to the Nubble Lighthouse to get some pics but rushed back to the room’s balcony for the best view ever. Staff were accommodating and welcoming. Hot tub and sauna a bonus!
