Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We had the best experience at the Vermont Wedding Barn. Jenny and Les were beyond helpful, welcoming us to their beautiful farm, allowing our friends to stay in the farm house while we stayed at the pool cabin, and helping us every step of the way in making our dream wedding happen. We loved being on the property from Thursday to Sunday, enjoying the beautiful views, alpacas, and more. Jenny and Les made the DIY aspect very doable, providing a variety of decorations for us to use and offering additional support with setup, day of coordination, and being available for every question or need. They even helped us to setup our rehearsal dinner at their VRBO farmhouse down the road! We couldn’t h...

Wedding Review (our wedding was 180ppl over a full weekend): This location is phenomenal. It has a lot of wonderful perks (decorations on site, the alpaca run, stunning views, multiple event areas that are both outdoors and indoors) and Jenny/Les who run the farm are very flexible. You also rent the entire weekend (Thursday to Sunday), which is helpful if you plan to do multiple events on location. Jenny/Les are responsive and communicative but are not always the most clear communicators. If you are going for a relaxed/flexible wedding and you don't mind a little chaos, this is an amazing find!

Recently stayed through AirBnB — Les and Jen simply could not have been better hosts! Communication prior to arrival was above and beyond. From flexible check-in times to the warm welcome and tour, to providing an extra cot (on top of the one that already comes with the room) to accommodate our second child accompanying us — thoughtfulness followed them with every part of our stay. The alpacas were a special treat. Feed and watermelon rinds (a special snack for our woolly friends) were left out for us to share with the alpacas at our leisure and if we so desired (surprise! We did. 😉) My daughter got to feed one of the newborn crias (baby alpaca). It was all we could do not to bring one home...

My brother and his now wife recently got married here, and let me tell you we made memories to last a life time. In setting up for the event I got to watch my step daughter and niece go absolutely bananas for the alpacas. "See Alpacas" became a popular demand from my niece. The views provided at the venue and the setting are unmatched. If you have a chance to check out the venue, or are even considering it, please go. You will not be disappointed. The running of the alpacas has already achieved legendary status among my family for weddings. Thank you so much for making my brother's wedding everything he ever could have asked for.

Everything about this venue was absolutely amazing! My daughters wedding venue at a private residence was flooded out the day before her wedding. Les and Jenny went above and beyond to make the wedding unforgettable in record time, 32 hours. Every detail was covered perfectly! The running of the alpacas was an added most memorable bonus! The views are spectacular overlooking the Adirondack Mountains. It was truly a magical event!! #goldwingphotography
