Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Ditto to all the positive reviews of Vermont Suites! I just needed a place to shower, sleep and have my morning coffee for a couple days while visiting. Cleanliness is my first priority and I wasn't disappointed. Everything seemed fairly new, recently renovated and included all I needed for a comfortable stay. I believe I had a 'medium' sized room, the only size available for the days I requested. The room seemed small but since I was traveling alone and not spending much time there, it was definitely big enough. I visit Burlington a few times a year and will definitely stay here again!

What a perfect place to stay for an early morning flight out. We stayed in the smallest room and it was just right for a one night stay. If it was for a longer stay or we had to spend more time in the room, we might have felt a little closed in. The price was amazing! We could not justify paying $200+ for one night at a fancier place. We will definitely stay there again.

Immaculately clean room, including everything you would need for a short or longer stay. The furnishings, linens, appliances, even the paint looks fresh, new and clean!!! Quiet neighborhood. The caretaker graciously upgraded me to a larger room because my daughter had to drive me here (thanks Uber). I was afraid she'd be too tired to get back home safely. Kindness: no extra charge. Is it fancy? No. Just super-nice people, easiest check-in in my life, and a comfy, clean room.

This was an incredible stay. The rooms were clean and nice and well maintained. The service was extremely fast from the hotel staff (the property manager) and it was within short walking distance of a lot of fun little shops, and even the main mall. The only critique I have at all is that we booked the room for three people, and the bed ended up being quite small. We were able to make it work but I think going forward they should make sure people know how many adults can reasonably fit on each bed (in room 17 at least it was only big enough for two adults.)

I am a long distance touring motorcyclist. This place checked a ton of boxes for my 4 night stay, during what seemed to be the hottest week one could expect in Vermont. Price was fantastic compared to every other hotel in the area. Accomodations were no frills perfect. Very compact room with a queen bed, hot plate kitchenette, fridge, shower, TV with Roku so I could use my own subscription services, and incredible air conditioning. I parked less than two feet from my door, unloaded my bags into the room. A couple of restaurants nearby, and about a mile from downtown Burlington (Ben and Jerry's !) Mike manages the place and was available at a moments notice when I locked myself out of the la...
