Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

The Vermont Country Deli in Brattleboro, Vermont was a very nice place to visit. Be sure to check out bother the Market and the Deli, as both were nice and offered unique finds and great service. Both buildings were well stocked and everything looked of high quality in regards to the food options. The sandwiches and beef brisket looked amazing, but we didn't try them on this visit. The Mac and Cheese was incredibly delicious and worth the visit alone. We also picked up a few different pastries and they were amazing as well. Definitely a place to add to your must visit list!

Awesome spot to checkout in Brattleboro. It was perfect for our drive home. We had the veggie and roast beef sandwiches. Our son had the macaroni and cheese. All three meals were top notch. The mac and cheese was one of the best we ever had! The staff were very friendly and hospitable!

There was like little to no parking was there this last Sunday traffic was nuts and there’s probably 30 people in there back to back waiting in line that was for the sandwich line. That’s somehow different than the deli line and or the pastry line. No real organization there the staff was helpful enough ton of value added local products. I can appreciate that was just very disorganized chaos will be back to try it out again, mac & cheese was really good. Don’t know if it was worth driving an hour and a half for but if I was back in the area, I might stop in.

It’s such a gem, and I was thrilled to find this spot. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there was a helpful police officer outside (the day I visited). I ordered the mac and cheese and beef, and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly efficient, and the line was manageable. However, it could be improved to make it more organized.

We stopped here while traveling through the Northeast, and wow—the food was absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese was phenomenal and 100% worth it. That said, getting in was a bit of a challenge. Traffic, parking, and the line to order were all pretty intense. Parking is extremely limited, and there was even a police officer stationed outside—it was a bit wild. Still, totally worth the hassle for how outstanding the food was!
