Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Why this business stood out

Incredible Intimate Music Venue in Brattleboro, Vermont Stone Church in Brattleboro is a gem for live music. Whether you’re into indie, metal, experimental, or anything in between, Stone Church books compelling artists that you won’t see at larger venues. The crowd was respectful and genuinely there for the music. There’s an intimacy to this place that you don’t get at big thea...

Was really bummed that Ultra sunn’s advertised guest opener, Forever Grey, didn’t show last night. We traveled far to see them. But the venue was wonderful. Great acoustics.

The Stone Church in downtown Brattleboro began about 1832 as a Universalist meeting house, then All Souls Unitarian Church. The building features Gothic Revival architecture and stained glass. After departure of the congregation about 60 years ago, the building served a variety of functions until 2016 when it began its journey as the central fixture in Southern Vermont’s music scene, hosting concerts, art shows, dances, and community events. It is now an outstanding and beautiful music venue with a terrific sound system and a super friendly staff. The adult beverage bar was most excellent, and had pizza slices available when we were there, but we just stayed with the liquid. Pick a show and ...

Really beautiful venue and really nice sound they were nice and the place was one of the cleanest I have ever been to. I shoot lots of bands and the lighting wasn’t harsh and the lights don’t hit the crowd. Definitely try to see a band here!
