Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

If you are a couple searching for a wedding venue that encapsulates the beauty of the Pioneer Valley and doesn't cost a bajillion dollars, look no further. We couldn't be happier that we chose the Mountain Rose as our wedding venue for our August 2024 wedding. There is so much to love about this place. The view is unbeatable. The tent and chandeliers are stunning. The landscaping and flowers are incredible, and there are so many spots for you and your partner to steal away and get some photos, or just a moment alone after the ceremony. Besides the venue's natural beauty, Kasey was a pleasure to work with. She was kind and thoughtful, and patiently answered all our questions throughout the pl...

Note: We were married in July 2023, however it was recently brought to my attention that my review never posted. To start, I will say the venue space itself is beautiful and well worth the money. The beauty of the venue is the only reason they’re receiving 2 stars from me. However, the staff at the venue leave something to be desired. We booked The Mountain Rose Inn two years prior to our wedding, right after we got engaged. We toured the space and fell in love with it immediately and Kasey was very accommodating and easy to work with. However, as we got closer to the day of our wedding, communication became more difficult. In April we reached out to book a time to come up for a tour of the...

We got married here on 10/14/22 and it was absolutely perfect. It was peak foliage in the area so the view was breathtaking and caused for so many beautiful pictures. We received so many compliments on how great everything looked. One of the best parts was, because of the beautiful backdrop, it did not require many decorations. Even the tent is decorative with the draped ceiling and chandeliers. It was a little chilly so the patio area wasn't used as much but I'm sure would be a great spot for guests during cocktail hour in warmer weather. Once we were in the tent and dancing, it was plenty warm though without any extra heaters. We stayed in the Inn the night of the wedding and it was great....

I knew the Mountain Rose Inn was our venue from just seeing photos online! It is absolutely beautiful. We were looking for a picturesque setting surrounded by the New England foliage for our fall wedding and it did not disappoint. Kasey and her husband were very patient and accommodating and flexible. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for something overlooking the mountains and secluded.

I had my wedding here this last weekend and it was absolutely amazing! The views that are stunning and the tented ballroom where the initial attraction, but these venue owners knocked it out of the park! Kasey the owner made sure every single detail was managed and everyone was coordinated. She was so sweet and helpful . I would recommend this venue to anyone! It is truly a gorgeous place and the venue hosts themselves are amazing people!! Huge bonus to being up on that beautiful mountainside is you might get a rainbow!!! Thank you Mountain Rose for giving us an amazing wedding!!
