Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

First, the lobster is taken from it's water of origin within 24 hours of service. This is absolutely critical for a proper lobster boil. The corn on the cob was perfect. It is the right time of year for great local corn. Best for last, the staff! Preparation, execution, clean up, and professional. At the finish it was like they were not there... Amazing! Highly recommend. Nothing overlooked. Perfect lobster. This was a dinner for 60 people.

The Maine Lobsterbake Company made our wedding day truly spectacular. The food was delicious. The clam chowder was creamy and flavorful, the lobster was sweet and perfectly cooked, the mussels were meaty and tastefully seasoned, and the corn bread moist. Even the blueberry cake dessert was the best I've ever had! All passed hors d'oeuvres and stationary appetizers were fantastic. Zero complaints. Fantastic service. Highly recommend!!

Maine Lobsterbake co. catered our wedding in September 2021. Courtney and her team made our special day a dream and so easy. All of our guests still rave about their food years later. Thank you so much!

If you are planning an event in Southern Maine take it to the next level with The Maine Lobsterbake Co.! The food was delicious! Lauren ran the crew for my party. She is excellent. Professional, friendly, hard working with great suggestions to keep things running smoothly. Best clam chowder. Best steamed mussels. Best lobster. Best strawberry shortcake. They do Maine classics flawlessly.

Working with Courtney was exceptional. We had a special request for my fathers birthday and she graciously agreed to accommodate us. Communication was excellent and timely. Best of all the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the Maine Lobster Bake Co and Courtney MacIsaac.
