Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a hair & beauty partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Rachel at the Library Hair Studio did an incredible job styling hair for myself and four bridal party members at my wedding. Choosing Rachel as my wedding hairstylist was one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process. Rachel is professional, trustworthy, compassionate, thoughtful, and skilled. When looking for wedding HMU, I struggled to find vendors who had a high level of professionalism and responsiveness, were skilled in their craft / style aligned with current tastes, and not exorbitantly expensive. Rachel goes above and beyond in all aspects. When I first chatted with Rachel over email and on the phone, her polish and professionalism immediately stood out a...

Rachel did my hair for my wedding, as well as the hair of 4 bridesmaids and 2 mothers. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted, provided a trial run, and completely nailed it the day of the wedding! My hair stayed in its style all night and it looked amazing! Rachel is also incredibly organized and made everyone feel comfortable while we were getting ready. I 100% recommend Rachel for any hair needs!

Rachel recently did mine and my wedding party's hair for my wedding and I could not speak more highly of her abilities!!! She did an absolutely incredible job. I have curly and somewhat frizzy hair and she made it look absolutely perfect on a hot, humid, July day. The hairstyle held up for the night and kept looking amazing through dancing, sweat, and humidity. Rachel was also just amazing to work with. She's professional, timely, responsive, and brought a grounding and calming presence to the day. She was the first one to arrive in the morning and stayed until just minutes before the ceremony started to make sure that she could touch up everyone's hair. I am so happy that we found Rachel an...

There is no one better with hair (and people) than Rachel! She is incredible at her craft. I have been to her for years for color and cut, and recommended her for friends weddings as well as my own. Everyone I introduce to her is blown away by her talent.

Rachel did an amazing job with my wedding hair! It was everything I had wanted, she did a great job looking at my example photos and listening to my vision. She executed it perfectly! She is a kind, bubbly person with a calming energy- a joy to spend time with on the big day. We ended up having some time contraints but Rachel was able to accommodate and still fit in the bridal party no problem. I felt confidant I was in good hands, she is an amazing stylist.
