We just returned home from several days at the Lake Estate on Winnisquam. My husband and I travel extensively and regularly stay at luxury properties worldwide, so we have high expectations for hospitality, pace, and overall guest experience. Having stopped through the Lake Estate on Winnisquam for lunch twice now, we have unfortunately left disappointed both times. Our most recent visit was this past Saturday around 1:00 PM. A wedding was scheduled for later that day, and part of the event party was gathering at the bar alongside a full dining room. My husband and I just got back from a stay at The Lake Estate on Winnisquam and really enjoyed our time there. Here are some Pros/Cons: Pros: The property is absolutely gorgeous. The lake views are stunning, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the whole resort has a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The pool, hot tub, beach, kayaks, and canoes were all great and made it easy to spend the day enjoying the lake. The staff was outstanding. We loved the Lake Estate!! Quiet luxury, lakefront beauty, and such a restorative stay!! The Lake Estate on Lake Winnisquam was the perfect beginning to our birthday and anniversary trip. This place exceeded our expectations. It's so beautiful, unique and has so much character. Every little corner and nook has a special touch. It's like walking in a museum, with beautiful artwork, the woodwork, craftsmanship of this place is stunning. It's clean and well maintained.
