Probably one of the most modern and cleanest hotels I've started at in years. The beds and pillows...absolutely perfectly comfy. The furnishings and the bathroom are ultimately modern. The owners took great pride in renovating a classic old American motel. The rooms have a spa-like feel about them. The hotel is near many great places along the shore. Dining options are very nearby. Portsmouth and Portland are a short drive. It's a great place to stay!

The Inn at Rye Place is the best motel I have ever stayed at. The beds are comfortable and clean. The carpet is soft and pretty. The decor is beautiful. The grounds are so well kept and pretty. The bathroom is marvelous. The artwork is great. The breakfast was delicious. The owners are friendly and nice. Thank you for such a fine stay. We felt so at home.

I was amazed. This is easily the nicest place I have ever stayed in the US for the price payed. Everything was just perfekt. The owners are super friendly and helpful so is the room service. Never missed anything. The rooms are super modern and well equipped. You are not to far of and can get to a lot of nice locations within 15min by car. Parkingspaces are plenty. There is also a small park with fireplaces and chairs on the backside. If you want to eat and not drive, the restaurant right next door is also a recommendation.

Update: Still overcharging one night. Overcharged for two extra nights and promised discount denied! Until after this review but still have not seen the refund to which they agreed let alone what it should be. The rooms here are comfortable, and the on-site management team initially seemed pleasant. However, the breakfast consists mostly of processed foods, so I chose to skip it entirely. I've seen much healthier grab and go's in my travels. The main reason for this one-star review is a severe billing error and a lack of integrity. I stayed for 5 nights but was wrongly charged for 6 nights. On top of that, the hotel completely failed to apply a promised 15% discount. This same discount was a...

Love this place! An old school motel fully renovated and modern. The rooms are large and comfortable and they even have fire pits out back for the guests. We will stay here again for sure!
