Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

This place is scenic as it gets. Such a gorgeous location. I played music for a wedding here. The ceremony site has breathtaking views. The barn for the reception is quaint & well set up with 2 rooms. There is a dining room connected to a large open room for socializing & dancing. If you're looking for a charming, rustic wedding venue, this is a fantastic spot in East Burke, Vermont.

Gorgeous inn on a 440-acre farm with an animal sanctiary on site! We stayed in one of their dog-friendly rooms and it was huge! We had access to a full kitchen. Breakfast each morning was freshly made and delicious. One of the parking lots for the Kingdon Trails is right next door, so we were sorry not to have brought bikes. Beautiful setting, spectacular views, excellent customer service, 5 stars across the board!

We recently had our daughter's wedding at the Inn at Mountain View Farm. What a magical weekend it was! The Inn is a beautiful historic building, with incredible views and great access to town and bike trails. The breakfasts that were served each morning were fresh, delicious and included lots of options for different diets. Dale (the manager) and the entire Inn staff were all so kind and delightful, including… Skip and his team who moved chairs/tables/heaters etc. around the farm, to accommodate our plans for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception! Marylin (the owner) was present that weekend and helped to make sure everything went smoothly! Thank you everyone at IMVF - we look ...

The Inn at Mountain View Farm hosted numerous family members and friends for a few nights as well as was the venue for my wedding and welcome dinner. The entire Inn staff went constantly above and beyond for us. Marilyn was beyond gracious with her flexibility around where we could have our welcome dinner due to an iffy weather forecast and she even stepped in to help with table setup during our reception. Skip was on top of everything when it came to ensuring tables and seating were ready for us. The entire barstaff went beyond their roles as well, stepping in to assist where needed. We were so lucky to have this wonderful team that quickly stepped in when hiccups occurred to make the eveni...

Amazing spot to visit Burke, get away, and ride bikes (we rode gravel, but tons of mtn bikes about for the kingdom trails). Staff super friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Location on a ridge is ridiculously beautiful, and a mile from Wildflower and quick drop down to Hazels worked perfectly. Thanks for facilitating a great anniversary!
