Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Ideal location for the most amazing Vermont vacation. I got married here on 7/18/26 and my family stayed for days. We even extended our trip a night longer because we didn’t want to leave! If you are considering staying here, just book it. You’re going to be so well taken care of by the inn keepers, owners, and housekeeping staff. The rooms are gorgeous and clean and the breakfast is better than it needs to be. You can walk to countless shops and restaurants or stay on the grounds and enjoy the green mountain views. If you’re considering getting married here, book ASAP! I planned my own wedding but it felt as though I had hired two coordinators. Gretchen and John made my dreams come true a...

Where to start? The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast (my fiancée ate only) was phenomenal. Most importantly, the service was above and beyond what we expected. Brian and his family are fantastic innkeepers. Everything is so homey, friendly and welcoming. Lastly, Todd was phenomenal, and in the end, became more of a friend than someone that worked at the inn. We looked forward to coming back after a day out and hanging/chatting with him. Thanks so much Todd. You are exceptional at your job. There is not a doubt that we will be back.
