The hotel is located in the heart of Salem. Lots of businesses are within walking distance. Front desk was very helpful and nice. My only complaint, the barn doors on the bathrooms. No privacy as they didn’t close properly. Otherwise the room was quaint, MCM vibe throughout. High ceilings. Nice tile in the shower.

Everything you need to stay on Essex in Salem! Room is a bit small but we are here to explore not sleep so not a big deal for us! Dont be a Karen about the room size 😆 Hot water good and toiletries good This street is very walkable. Good wifi, coffee in the morning between 7-11. Roof top bar! There is a nearby parking lot so not a big deal that its on a pedestrian walk way area. Very easy to walk to restaurants nearby by and al the tours offered. This was a childhood dream of mine to visit and it did not disappoint!

The Hotel is in the heart of downtown. It is in a cobblestone pedestrian only street. Parking is conveniently located a few minutes walk. The rooms are pretty cool and modern. The sheets were so soft. The window opened just a bit so the cool air coming in was great. The window overlooked a courtyard area where several ghost tours stopped. The staff were attentive and kind. The rooftop bar provided great views a breeze and delicious cocktails. Due to a storm coming in, they had to close for a bit so we were unable to have food there. I’ve stayed at Hotel Salem before, and I loved it just as much this time as I did the first. The location is perfect right on Essex Street, with everything within walking distance. The vibe here is unmatched, from the unique shops to the cozy cafés all around. Museums, walking tours, and trolley tours are all nearby, and the meet up spot is just about a one minute walk from the hotel, which made everything super convenient.
