Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

The Henry house is an incredible venue for weddings. The entire family was so beyond helpful again and again with helping make everything come together for the day. They were incredibly reasonable, and wanted everyone to have a good time. I loved how much the venue got to feel like home while we were there. All of the extra time before the ceremony was incredible to catch up with friends and family as we traveled from Wyoming for the wedding. To anyone on the fence for the wedding venue, it is worth it in every way shape and form.

Absolutely beautiful venue and Rebecca and team were great to work with. Our summer 2025 wedding went off without a hitch and I highly recommend the Henry House if you want a wedding with magical Hobbiton vibes and a venue that needs no additional decoration because the atmosphere is stunning (the gardens on the property are incredible and they have gorgeous string lights, lanterns, and up-lighting on all of the trees, fences, and patios). We had a mix of family and friends stay on site in the main house and guest cottage which were both very comfortable and made for great getting ready spots.

The Henry house is the most magical environment I have ever been to. We had our wedding there last year and the houses, cocktail area and reception area were amazing but the ceremony location was the show stopper. I received so many compliments from guests about how perfect the venue was. In addition to the aesthetics of the Henry house, the Sklepowicz family is the most amazing family to work with. We had basically a monsoon the morning of the wedding and the family was out with leaf blowers to clear the water. Our vendor did not set up the tables and chairs and the Sklepowicz family was out there moving all of the furniture. They made our weekend truly a dream. I can’t wait to visit again ...

I don’t even know where to begin because The Henry House and the incredible Sklepowicz family completely exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment we first toured the property, I could tell this place, and these people, were something special. Rebecca, Tom, Denise, and Sarah are an absolute dream team. They are the most organized, efficient, and genuinely caring people you could ever hope to work with. No question went unanswered, no detail went unnoticed. They were calm, confident, and reassuring through every step of the planning process, and when the wedding day came, they made sure everything ran seamlessly. If a single blade of grass was out of place, someone from their team fi...
