RESTAURANT ONLY: we only ate at the restaurant so we can’t comment on the hotel itself. It was very tasty food! The smash burger was fantastic are their fries are very tasty too! The shrimp tacos were very tasty too, but needed more coleslaw on it. The salad was also very small for the price. Also, could not recommend getting the potato chips. It’s literally just a bag of cape cod chips on your plate (and the smallest one at that) just get the fries instead. They’re very tasty and fresh! This place is a **10/10** if you're traveling with a dog! They are genuinely **100% dog-friendly**, and the staff absolutely love having dogs around—it made the stay that much more enjoyable. The property itself is beautiful, and many of the newer rooms have **air conditioning**, which was a huge plus. The location is another standout feature. You can easily walk just about anywhere, including downtown, making it a perfect home base for exploring the area. My only criticism is the pricing. I understand you're paying a premium for the location, but the nightly rates are approaching **five-star hotel pricing**. I had an amazing experience thanks to Rhiannon at the front desk. She was incredibly friendly, Funny and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She answered all of my questions with patience, made the whole process quick and easy, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. It’s clear she genuinely cares about guests and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Rhiannon made my stay that much better, and I hope the hotel knows what a valuable employee they have. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

I never write reviews but this is the type of place that needs them to encourage change. In terms of location it's fine but definitely overrated if you want to actually do anything outside of the hotel (which you should because the hotel itself isn't awesome). We stayed on the cove side (thank God) which is newer and has air conditioning. If you're in the "historic" building, good luck to you (no AC and smells like your grandma's house). The biggest joke of all though is the service. It's run by children (literally...the front desk had no one older than 18 on it) and they have no idea what's going on. First lets start off with the positive, the hotel is in a beautiful spot. We have stayed there for several years over the 4th of July Holiday. The early stays were great but beginning last year we could feel a change and not for the better. Let me begin with the fact that this weekend was in the 90's no AC but we knew that going in. But when we got to the room it was so small that you could not get by the bed if you opened the bathroom door. There was no ice bucket, no do not disturb for the door, which is minor but adds to the over all experience. we left the room the first morning and came back to an unmade room, getting back around 3:30 in the afternoon. went down to the desk to see...
