What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I had a great time during my stay. Everyone was so friendly - both the housekeeping and reception staff. I got a text each morning about housekeeping, so I didn't have to worry about making sure I hung the "do not disturb" sign. There were some renovations going on, but I had absolutely no disturbances. I can't wait to see the improvements! The room was beautiful and very clean! Not a speck of dust or stray hairs anywhere. The only suggestions I have would be a coat/purse hook by the door and a trash can for the room since the only one available was in the bathroom.

Our time spent at the Breakwater Inn was wonderful. Romeo, at the front desk, was extremely helpful when I called to make our reservation. Greg and all the other employees were also polite and helpful. The view was fantastic , and the newly renovated rooms were so nice. It is convenient to walk next door or across the street for food and drinks. Having access to the Adirondack chairs to enjoy the fabulous views was definitely a bonus.

Recently remodeled, rooms in the harbor view building were amazing. Great location, 2 min walk to the beach and 20 min walk into town. Complimentary bikes were great for getting into town as well. Hidden gem in my opinion. This was a great stay!

My stay at the Breakwater Inn in Kennebunkport, Maine was nothing short of magical—especially in the winter. The entire area transforms into a peaceful coastal wonderland, with crisp ocean air, quiet snowy landscapes, and breathtaking views that feel almost untouched. It’s the perfect place to slow down and truly relax. What made the experience even more special was Rhonda, the hostess, who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. She was incredibly accommodating, warm, and genuinely friendly—someone who clearly cares about every guest who walks through the door. From the moment I arrived, she created such a welcoming atmosphere that it felt more like visiting a friend’s beautifu...

We had a fabulous stay at the Breakwater Inn. The room was very clean and well kept, beds were very comfortable and it was nice and quiet. There was also free coffee, tea and water. Rhonda was very attentive upon our arrival and throughout our stay. It was also a great location, out of the hustle of the main town, but just a 20 minute walk or short drive. We would definitely come back and recommend!
