Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Almost two years later and I often still think about how perfect our wedding day was, and it all started with the people behind Hatch Point. From the very first time I reached out, Kelly and Darren made the entire process feel effortless. They were responsive, warm, and clearly cared about making our day exactly what we envisioned. That level of care set the tone for everything. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — lush greenery everywhere you look, with a beautiful water backdrop that made every photo feel like something out of a magazine. It's the kind of place that doesn't need much decoration because it already takes your breath away. If you're looking for a venue where the peopl...

There aren’t enough words to describe how much we loved having our wedding at Hatch Point. We toured many venues before visiting, and Hatch Point was the only one that truly felt worth every penny. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. Kelly and Darren have poured their hearts into creating the perfect wedding venue, and it shows in every detail. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Kelly made the process fun and unbelievably easy. She was always quick to respond, offered thoughtful suggestions, and anticipated the little details most couples would never think of. Both Kelly and Darren were there every step of the way, setting up tables and chairs ahead of time and even com...

Fantastic venue for a wedding. The owners Kelly and Darren are on site all weekend long. They really take the stress out of planning. You can tell how much love and care they have put into their gorgeous property. You really have to visit and meet with Kelly. She is amazing !

I helped to photograph a wedding at Hatch Point + have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue! The staff were beyond helpful + friendly, the grounds were very well-kept + the views are gorgeous for wedding photos. The getting ready spaces are very aesthetic as well. Highly recommend getting married here!

One of the most beautiful places with one of the most beautiful couples. The Barn at Hatch Point is simply breathtaking. With Kelly and Darren leading the way I had complete confidence and not a single worry on the day of our event. Thank you!

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
