Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a florals partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I don't think there's enough space here for me to properly rave about Tara. Wedding planning is incredibly personal. Every bride will want to be treated and incorporated into the process in different ways. Tara met me exactly where I was in my extraordinarily personal journey. Yes, she handled the stress of coordinating vendors, payments, schedules, and timelines with virtual ease, but she was more than just an expert at her craft. She was my #1 advocate, oftentimes my therapist, and above all, a dear friend. I feel badly for any bride who didn't get to have that kind of relationship with their planner, or god forbid, had a negative one. Tara did everything in her power to make sure my weddi...

Tara is an absolute visionary. She went above and beyond for my wedding, going as far as 4 hours to collect flowers that made all the difference on the wedding. Working with Tara was a very easy experience- she is so professional and made me feel so secure and had wonderful suggestions even days before the wedding that made a huge difference in the way we laid out our wedding design wise. She was absolutely amazing to work with and I would highly advise anyone getting married in the Vermont area to partner with her on design for your big day.

Tara is INCREDIBLE! If you are looking for a wedding or event planner and designer - your search is officially over. From our very first call, Tara helped me hone in on a vision and vibe for our wedding day and rehearsal dinner with her incredible eye and attention to detail. She worked with me for a year to align all of the moving pieces and create a cohesive and beautiful setting at multiple venues. To top it off, Tara is incredibly kind and hilarious - exactly the person you want around on your big day! Thank you Tara!

Tara was amazing to work with. She was instrumental in making sure our day went off without a hitch. She talked with our venue and made sure they knew everything that was happening. It truly felt like I didn’t have to worry about anything. Not to mention the amazing flower arrangements and tent decoration. Tara knows so much and letting her run with some of my ideas was the best decision I could have made. Thank you, thank you Tara for helping us have the most amazing day!
