Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I worked with Sweet Thunder Productions on an educational oral health video library series and Lee was fantastic to work with. Although this content was new for her, she was able to see the vision exactly as I planned. This was a giant project, with multiple moving pieces, multiple people involved, and multiple videos in the series, and Lee managed it all in stride. She was so flexible and accommodating, and the results are absolutely magical! The most incredible part was the speed at which Lee was able to produce the videos, I am still astonished at the amount of work she did in such a short period of time! I would 10 out of 10 recommend Sweet Thunder Video Productions and look forward to c...

I found an old VHS tape that had a very special occasion on it and wanted to gift it to a family member. Lee was wonderful to work with and transferred to DVD for us. It was so nice to be able to hand it directly to her and not have to mail it somewhere in fear it would get lost. She had me wait a short time and did it right away for me, so I did not have to ride back an hour and pick it up, it was wonderful! I will use her again for other family recordings I have. Great job Lee! Highly recommend her for quality work!

I cannot sing Lee’s praises enough. She was so easy and comfortable to work with. She created the most amazing short video of my cupcake business. Her attention to detail is unsurpassed by anyone else in her field; the care and attention that she took in highlighting my business has me recommending her left and right. Not only was the final video beyond what I had imagined it could be, but the actual turnaround time between shooting and the final cut was only one week. She gave me ample opportunity to edit and correct whatever I wanted, but, honestly, there wasn’t anything I could think of changing. (Rare for someone as picky as I am about how my business is portrayed.) She is just that good...

Lee provided a highly professional service on a complex digitisation project. It was completed on budget, and target, to an exceptional quality. I highly recommend Sweet Thunder Video Productions as a vendor if you require the transfer of visual and audio media to a digital format.
