Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a entertainment partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Mike Toomey absolutely knocked it out of the park at Willa and Jackson’s wedding at the Southern Vermont Art Center! From the moment we started planning, Mike took the time to get to know Willa and Jackson, their personalities, and the kind of celebration they wanted. He didn’t just show up with a playlist; he created the soundtrack for an unforgettable night. He kept the entire evening flowing effortlessly, handled every transition like a pro, and somehow managed to keep the dance floor packed from the very first song until the lights came on. At one point, I looked around and realized there were guests from their 20s to their 80s all out there dancing together—and that’s no easy feat! I...

Matt did AMAZING! He communicated super well leading up to the day and making sure everything was up to our standards prior! He arrived promptly and checked in with us to make sure he had everything queued up accordingly to our wishes! Everything flowed well on the day and the reception was super fun! Our guests told us multiple times how our DJ was so great and they loved all the music that was played! We also did the uplighting around our tent from Supersounds which made the dancing area extra fun! Thank you!

We hired Supersounds to DJ our spring 2026 wedding in Stowe and they did an amazing job! From initial contact through the wedding festivities they were so professional and communicative. A DJ can make or break the flow of the wedding and Samantha was amazing! She listened and totally understood our music preferences and put together a very helpful timeline for the wedding and was super flexible! She also recommended our ceremony band who were also WONDERFUL and she collaborated well with all our vendors! I would 100% recommend Supersounds and Samantha! She got my family who are not big dancers out on the dance floor and held steadfast to our ‘do-not-play list.’ If you want a fun event with...

We used Supersounds for our wedding DJ 6/20/26 in Bridport Vermont. Ryan and the Supersounds team was absolutely fantastic to work with. Easy to communicate with, super friendly and helpful, and very fairly priced! We had DJ Bucky and he kept the party going all night! He seamlessly dealt with last minute schedule changes and was upbeat the whole time. He also mic’d up our outdoor ceremony and everything worked perfectly. Highly recommend Supersounds for your wedding DJ!
