Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Paul is the the photographer you want to work with. I was amazed at every step - he made the initial consult, scheduling the session, the experience of being photographed, and receiving the images incredibly easy. It was ALL smooth, relaxed, gentle, and even fun. I had some suggestions, and Paul listened carefully and was ready to try. I feel like the photos he took show me the way I want to be seen. They are honest, in the best possible way. I was ready to be traumatized by the whole process and Paul made it a breeze. The photos are spectacular, I feel completely confident about using them for publicity, and I know I'll contact Paul again if I need more. He's just great!

I needed a headshot for a show I'm in and Paul totally delivered. I do not enjoy being photographed and rarely am ok with photographs of me but I was, to my surprise, very pleased with the results. Highly recommend StoryWorkz!

Paul made me look way more photogenic than I am with his expertise. Thank you for capturing my very first professional headshot! I also appreciate him for giving back to veterans. Highly recommend!

Great experience taking a new professional headshot. I am normally pretty camera shy - Paul made it painless. Couldn't be happier. I look like me... only a little more polished than usual!

Paul had me in and out of my headshot appointment in lighting speed, and I walked away with an amazing assortment of headshots! I was a little nervous since I had never had professional headshots done before, and not only did they turn out GREAT, but the process was really easy and low pressure.
