Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We had a 100-person wedding this month (July 2026) and are incredibly happy that we chose the Stevens Estate. From our initial tour to the wedding day, Amy Shore was a pure delight and we had a lot of fun coordinating the event with her on our side. The venue provides a clear planning timeline with 1:1 meetings to review logistics and address any questions or concerns. It was incredibly organized and allowed our event to run smoothly. A big priority for us was a first-rate guest experience and WOW did they deliver. Endless compliments from our guests about the food/bar, the excellent staff/service, and the beautiful grounds. It made us so happy to see our family and friends well-treated and...

This venue is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. We had a small wedding on the last Sunday of the off season so our reception was inside the house and it was amazing. Amy the coordinator is the absolute best and she helped us so much and was such a fantastic source of information and guidance. We would choose this venue over and over again just for her alone. The ceremony had also originally been planed for inside because April weather but it ended up being a beautiful day so they let us move the ceremony outside at the last minute which was wonderful and Amy and her team also completely set up and tore down all our decor. Also, the food is insanely good.

Getting married at the Stevens Estate was the best decision we made! The venue is absolutely beautiful, but the best part of the entire experience was working with Helen! Helen made the planning process so easy for us. She is so great to work with and so detail orientated. She brought all of our visions to life and made sure everything went according to plan. She created back up plans in case of unexpected events such as rain and really thought through everything. On the day of, we really had no stress because of the work Helen and her team put in. We had a unique wedding ceremony where we had a traditional ceremony followed immediately by a Persian ceremony, and Helen made sure everything f...

We photographed a wedding at the Stevens Estate this past October and it still stands out as one of the most breathtaking venues I’ve ever worked at. I honestly don’t know how I hadn’t shot there before, but it has absolutely become one of my top five favorite venues in all of New England. The estate itself is stunning. The historic interiors, the expansive grounds, and the tented reception space all come together in such a beautiful way. The light was unreal and everything rendered beautifully on film. From a vendor perspective, the staff was thoughtful, warm, and incredibly easy to work with. They were also super mindful of my shellfish allergy when it came to vendor meals, which says a lo...
