Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We had a good stay at Stanford house - a small motel style place but a much upgrade from a motel experience. Rooms are ok, beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean & bath area big. Water pressure & hot water was sufficient. Microwave & mini fridge in room. We enjoyed watching a thunderstorm approach over the mountains from the Adirondack chairs outside. The common fire pit is a good addition- nice to sit around it in the evenings. The owner is a pleasant fellow. Will stay again - a peaceful place

Quite a nice place. I needed a night near Mendon Mountain for one night and the price was low. I was surprised at the updated room. Quite nice for the price I got on a holiday weekend.

Didnt appreciate the half eaten box of peeps left in refrigerator. Also found sewing needle on floor. No bar soap for sink, only 3 dispensers in shower stall that are not labeled what they are. Kept up at night due to loud neighbor who happened to be housekeeper and family!

Had a really nice stay at The Stanford. Room cost was a third of what I paid previous week at a full service hotel in Manchester and my room was much, much nicer. All hardwood floors, new bathrooms, windows that open to let fresh air in and a mini fridge. All things the "luxury" hotel did not. Very quiet and a nice firepit. Only downside was no desk if you need to catch up on work. But great wifi. Owner very nice.

I stayed two nights at this motel. It was in excellent condition. The room, bed, AC unit, fridge were all in new like condition. The grounds were well kept and maintained. The owners were always available and seen working on the property. No breakfast or soda/candy/ice machines was my only knock on this business. I highly recommend staying at this great located business
