Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Perfect stop for a break while biking after crossing the water into South Hero. They have beer options for non-wine drinkers and some snacks but no actual food per se. It’s a really quiet, peaceful setting with not much else around. Check their website for live music in the summer. They have music every Thursday. While you’re there, hike up Fox Hill to where they mowed a heart into the field (can only see from above) for expansive views of Lake Champlain and even more solitude. There are a few picnic tables up there and so much green and blue!

A bit out of the way but definitely worth it! Wonderful wines both red and white. Buy the bottle, not the glass. 2 glasses equal a bottle +/- $2. Many lovely places to hang out. Staff is very friendly and inviting. Very quiet area so quite relaxing. More bicycles go by than cars! Came away with 3 bottles.

My husband and I got married at Snow Farm August 16, 2025. We had the most incredible experience having our wedding at Snow Farm Vineyard! From the very beginning, Nick was extremely easy to communicate with—responsive, helpful, and always willing to answer our many questions. When we showed up for our initial session, he had prepared a powerpoint of what to expect and the options for the day and truly listened to our vision. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the property was, and it created the perfect backdrop for our day. The flowers are perfect in August and there were so many butterflies. Everything ran seamlessly, and the tea...

We enjoyed this vineyard so much that we visited twice during our islands trip! Great concert series. Great staff. Great patios and lawn area. Great cheeses and crackers. And... let's not forget the yummy wines! We did their tastings and literally tried them all! Bringing a case home! *if you want to do the "castle tour", the vineyard is a great starting point! *the birdhouses are also right down the road! We brought our books and puzzle and relaxed for the afternoon!

Went for a tour of the vineyard and wine tasting. They were very well timed and made sure we did all the walking and touring first learning about the history of the farm and thier family's practice of winemaking. We tasted about 10+ wines, including white, red and rose and some maple liqueur (delicious!) and had some time to browse the shop. the shop also let you taste before buying afterwards
