Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Below average stay for a Marriott property. Location is fantastic and as a child i remember thinking this was such a fancy hotel but time has definitely taken its toll. Checked in on Thursday and out on Monday. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable and AC worked well. If the hotel is hosting a group there can be increased noise depending on the attendees - for example on the first night there were dance/cheer groups and the noise level was very loud, lots of running up and down the halls and slamming doors until midnight but on the second and third night there was some kind of haunted/monster expo convention but we didn't notice any increased noise on these nights. Housekeeping never c...

Just look at the place! It's impressive even driving up. Lots of trees. Nice scenery. Staff was nice and rooms we very nice as well.. bathroom is definitely upper level and everything in perfect order. Also full bottles of bathroom necessities, not just little trial sizes . I'm sure they are all anchored so people can't walk off with them tho.

I went there for a 40th wedding anniversary. It is nicely located, it was easy to navigate there. It is has parking but you have to walk to the hotel, imagine how that went with high heels on. The banquet room is medium size and can accommodate about 400 to 500 people. They do the catering. You cannot bring food from outside. The food was not that good, not something I will usually eat but well we did not have a choice. Not sure how much it costs. Don't rely on my review. Call them to find out if you are looking for a place to celebrate your anniversary, birthday or any other event. And my sister did a good job decorating it. It looked idyllic 👌🏾

WE HAD TO SERVICE OUR OWN ROOM This was a disaster Hotel… Went to stay here for a wedding weekend with 3 friends. We were all in the wedding party and wanted a nice place for the groom to get ready at… the Sheraton was apparently not going to be that nice place. Sure, the outside looks great and the lobby is nice, but we did not expect issues and the lack of service and initiative to be so bad that we would have to find a new place to get ready for our friends big day. The main problems? WE had to service and clean the room / get new supplies, the whole trip, despite asking the staff, AND the room had issues… no fan in the bathroom meant a super humid room (waiting for a mold issue) and ever...

I would not recommend having an event with the restaurant and bar!!! We were there for a wedding. We had the restaurant and bar booked for the after party after the wedding. However we were told that they would not be serving anyone from the wedding and locked their doors at 11:30 pm, even though they were open until 1am. This is extremely disappointing given we book the space. The bartenders stated that this was a decision from the gm. If this is so the wedding party should be informed ahead of time.
