Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

This was my first time at a vineyard, we had a bridal party here and it was lovely. Gabby is the bride and I’m so happy we got to celebrate her here! The people working were very pleasant. Ruby helped me with choosing wine for my tasting and she did a great job because I loved it all. We had a very special day with friends here and I recommend it highly. Thanks everyone at Shelburne Vinyard for being part of our celebration.

Beautiful setting with lovely vineyard and a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed sitting outside with a wine flight and charcuterie board on a gorgeous day. The wines were enjoyable and the tasting experience was fun and informative. Overall, a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

Came here with a bunch of my friends for my bachelorette weekend and August and Ruby were so kind and attentive to us! We even got a welcome sample upon our arrival to the winery! Everyone loved the wines, food, space and hospitality! Will absolutely be back in the future! Thank you all for a wonderful experience 🤍

I am both a musician who plays at the vineyard as well as a patron. I’m also a huge wine snob who cut his teeth on the wine of the premier vineyards of California and northern Italy. Shelburne Vineyard is a hidden gem producing some gorgeous wines and touting an atmosphere second to none. The staff are knowledgeable and so friendly and approachable, the setting is gorgeous, and the wine is delicious. If my San Francisco wine friends came to visit Vermont, I’d take them to Shelburne Vineyard and watch them smile from ear to ear.

The setting alone is worth the trip — classic Vermont beauty, peaceful surroundings, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay all afternoon. The wines were excellent. Each one was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully balanced, with flavors that really reflected the character of the region. Whether you prefer something crisp and refreshing or smooth and bold, there was something to love. What truly made the visit special was the people. The staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful without ever feeling pushy. They took the time to explain the wines, share i...
