Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We needed to put my 91 year old mother in law up for the night without any notice. The hotel accommodated her brilliantly and cordially! What a bright lovely and warm hotel. The location is as good as it could be. You can walk to town or the beach. They have a beautiful pool! Reception area quite serene and nice! Ryan was a big help to us during our stay! He went above and beyond! The continental breakfast was nice and we enjoyed our stay! Would absolutely recommend! The pool makes it a great place for families!

Cute hotel. Conveniently close to lots of activities and attractions. The indoor pool was nice and well maintained. Room was okay, nothing special and room service didn’t come at all during our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay too, like juice, yogurt, bagels, etc. Would recommend this hotel!

The stay was fine, you get what you pay for! Pulled into the hotel and it doesn’t look like the photos I can tell you that. Beds didn’t feel great but a bed is a bed right! The WiFi didn’t even reach the room which isn’t helpful when on the website “free fast WiFi.” The breakfast was overrated on the website (bagel's, bread, cereal) but it was fine. There was used soap left in the room and a couple of hair elastics with hair on them. Overall wasn’t a bad hotel but wouldn’t come back! No hard feelings🙂

I’m honestly surprised this place has good reviews. Our room felt muggy and desperately needed a dehumidifier. The ceiling tiles had stains and the bathroom vent fan was caked in dust. The bathroom floor had some weird slimy feeling to it. I couldn’t tell if they used a weird cleaning product and didn’t wipe it off or what that slimy feeling was from. For almost $300 a night this place is a no-go for me. I wouldn’t return.

I believe this is my fourth time in this hotel and I'll be my last sitting here !!! on my birthday at eleven o'clock, pm finding a green snot on the side of these sheets ,and black specks on these sheets.Hair also on the other bed, never again!! So pissed. Yes, they brought me clean sheets, but that don't make it right!! I'm literally leaving this hotel , right now and will never cameback!! I got accused of having problems in the past.I don't remember what problems this manager is talking about? I came last year to rockport, and stayed at a motel that was much cleaner in gloucester Ma for less money. This manager literally accused me of putting snots on the sheets.Myself not believing me ...
