Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We love River Road Farm and the staff at it. They are always so friendly, accommodating and so helpful. Their location is insanely gorgeous and were thrilled to refer any of our clients there way! The great thing about River Road farm is you have the option to do a tented wedding or you can use their indoor space or both! Plus they have a stunning house that the wedding party can stay and a pool to boot. Amazing location and must see for any engaged couple.

River Road Farm is truly a magical place. As a local to Manchester VT, my husband and I wanted a wedding venue that had the convenience of being close to home but felt like a secluded oasis. This gorgeous property is the PERFECT spot for your dream event. We stayed on property with our wedding party Thurs-Sun so we never had to leave. We hosted our rehearsal dinner by the pool, and leisurely prepared for the big day with our very best friends and family. It was truly a dream! The property is stunning, the staff is extraordinary and the location is so ideal. Walking distance to town yet hidden on one of the most swoon worthy roads in Vermont lined with the most quaint stone walls. I promise y...

River Road Farm holds such a special place in our hearts! The property is gorgeous and so well maintained, and the team is super knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to get creative. Our wedding was in peak foliage season and the views from the property were unreal. We feel so fortunate that this is where we landed for our wedding!

We had our wedding at River Road Farm in Manchester, Vermont, and it could not have been more perfect. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—the mountains, gardens, and grounds created the most gorgeous backdrop for our day and made every moment feel magical. Beyond the beauty, the team at River Road Farm was incredible. From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and so easy to work with. Every detail was handled with such care, and their calm, thoughtful approach made the planning process and the wedding day itself seamless. One of our favorite touches was how they brought us our signature cocktails while we were taking post-ceremony photos—it was such a thoughtful gestu...

We couldn’t have been happier to get married at River Road Farm- it was truly the perfect venue! I visited at least eight venues in Vermont, and this was by far my favorite and the most beautiful. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was the one. The property is absolutely breathtaking, with a meticulously maintained lawn, a stunningly renovated barn, and a serene rural setting that still offers easy access to town and plenty of hotels for guests. One of the most unique features is the pool at the center of the building, which adds such a fun and unexpected touch—you can even use it throughout the weekend! Another huge perk is the on-site Airbnb, located in part of the renovated barn. It...
