Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

The entire place is WONDERFUL and we had a completely relaxing extended holiday weekend visit. The rooms are immaculate and very well stocked with what you need. We enjoyed a mountain view and eagerly looked forward to checking out the slopes for birds and animals each morning. We stayed at King Pine and it was remote and quiet and exactly what we had hoped for. At the main building, the pool and hot tub were expertly maintained. I saw the guy briefly once but he was working so I didn't get the chance to compliment him but you all sure should! The pool and the hot tub were a great feature and we enjoyed them several times, I even walked down (&back) while she was off-site to take anoth...

We were here for a couple nights for a wedding. Booking the "right" room online is complicated if you don't know the layout. If you are in a wheelchair or have issues maneuvering stairs, call the resort to discuss options. There are no elevators or ramps at the Inn. The Inn is not a building to choose if you require a wheelchair or limited stair use. That also means that the restaurant and bar are not an option, either, as they are both inside of the Inn. The resort is on both sides of Route 153. There are multiple buildings. The check-in office is in the Mill. The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating. Upon entering the Inn, there's a strong, odd smell, but it was not in the room. The...

Wonderful time at Purity Springs! It’s one of the most beautiful places! The lake, the beaches, the hikes- all wonderful! It’s so nice to be able to kayak, canoe and paddle board any time, trying out water skiing was thrilling, the beach and pool are relaxing. All the staff was beyond kind! Great free yoga and aerobics classes in the most beautiful location, with the gem, Carol-Ann. The rooms are simple and no frills- but they have lots of different room sizes and location which was great. We had a great time with our extended family, perfect for all the young kids we have!

Fantastic! Great customer service, good sized room, large warm pool and hot tub, free use of canoes and restaurant was reasonably priced with great service and view of lake.

This resort has many buildings and I believe the room quality varies depending on where your selected room is. The one we stayed was outdated but clean. Front desk was friendly. Having access to the lake and boats is a huge plus. We enjoyed the rides on the lake. Just that may make me consider going back to this resort again. Overall positive experience

Getting here

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.

For your guests

Lovely places to stay nearby

Omni Mount Washington Resort, Bretton Woods

Grand hotel rooms with the whole range out the window.

Christmas Farm Inn, Jackson

Country rooms and cottages for family and the wedding party.

Adair Country Inn, Bethlehem

Small, romantic, and lovely for the first night.

Three stops worth the detour

Somewhere pretty for photographs, and somewhere warm for a good cup of coffee.

Jackson Falls

Tiered water and old stone walls, minutes from the village.

Kancamagus Highway overlooks

The drive itself is the photograph, especially in October.

Frontside Coffee Roasters, North Conway

Friendly espresso before guests head up the notch.
