Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a catering partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

HUGE thank you to Michael and his amazing team for catering our wedding at Seacoast Science Center this Labor Day. Our guests have been raving non-stop about how creative, unique and delicious everything was. We even have folks begging for his recipes :) His menu is unlike anything else you'll find among wedding caterers, and he was willing to go the extra mile to make it personal for us - all the way down to late night mini Chicago Style hot dogs in honor of the groom's Chicago roots. The seafood paella, and clam chowder were also favs! We recommend trusting Mike and his process - he was so nice to us and definitely guided us in the right direction in certain areas. We are so glad we ...

Portsmouth Catering Co was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding. Michael and his team were incredible from day one! He helped us curate a menu that fit our tastes and our budget. Every step of the way as we had questions or problems, Michael had an answer for everything! We got so many compliments on how delicious the food was all night. We are so appreciative of the hard work PCC put in to make our wedding day so perfect!

If you are looking for an amazing caterer… look no further. Portsmouth catering blew it out of the water and did the most amazing job for our rehearsal dinner. We did a platted dinner and every meal was beyond good.every guest loved and raved about their meals. Planning with Michael was so easy and smooth. We created a menu that worked for everyone and fit a seasonal theme. You won’t regret hiring them for your next event. I will be raving about their food to everyone and anyone that needs catering.

Michael and the team at Portsmouth Catering Co were wonderful to work with and we loved the food at our wedding! From initial outreach, to menu planning, and the big day, Michael and the team made the process, fun, stress free, and left us feeling thankful for everything! We loved the food but were also very appreciative of all Michael’s guidance and patience with our venue. His help and responsiveness made a big difference! Thanks for making the process fun, and of course, for the late night spudsters that all our guests loved! We still have people talking about the crab Rangoon and phat Thai!

I had such an awesome experience with Chef Mike! He was so easy to work with and the menu he created was incredible. We had my husband’s birthday party catered and all anyone could talk about was the food! Highly recommend for any event!
