Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a hotel rooms partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

A decent stay , the staff was not that friendly or considerate. Had walk around the cleaning staff a couple times while they chatted outside our door on the walkway which put us walking in the rock bed to get by. No hellos, no excuse me ,no eye contact . And at check in a comment was made out loud getting off the phone with someone and was shocked that she had said something I shouldn't have but I'll let that go . A frozen freezer that should have been thawed, a broken lamp shade , a bathroom sink faucet spraying all over the sink when used. It was a quiet room down the end and a decent pool and an ok Continental breakfast

Our favorite place to stay when in Kennebunk. Owner's are awesome! Salt water pool, very comfortable and nice breakfast. We have been going there for many years.

This was a really nice hotel! The room was clean and the service was wonderful. It is a mile and a half or so away from food. Make sure you get food early—this town seems to close up at about 8:30 PM!

This was a great little place we stumbled upon in our travels. We needed a room for the night and places were expensive and selling out fast during our time in the area. We grabbed a room here for the night. The room was clean and decent and the staff was SO incredibly nice. The heated pool was the perfect temperature and we met another nice family on vacation there as well. The beds were comfy and had full body pillows and all of the lights and remotes and air worked. No complaints. Great alternative to the busier, more expensive places nearby.
