What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I'm always the type of person who reads reviews before I purchase a product/service, so let me tell you about my experience with Jay and Victoria of Philbrick photography. These two are amazing. Jay creates the most amazing images I have ever seen. We spent all day shooting, and the amount of beautiful images we created is in the hundreds! Jay is the type of photographer that knows no limits when it comes to getting the shot. I've worked with a few other photographers in my time as a model, and he is by far my favorite to work with. Victoria is simply the sweetest, always willing to help with anything that I needed. Jay is incredibly professional, and I did not feel uncomfortable at all! Res...

Jay Philbrick and his wife are both incredible to work with. Not only do they try their hardest to produce exactly the type of images you want, but they are patient and extremely friendly. Jay is creative, knowledgeable, experienced and up for any adventure when it comes to capturing the best shots. I've worked with him several times and each time I am impressed with his professionalism and advanced skills. Philbrick Photography is one of a kind!

I have been working with Jay for years now and his drive and passion are so prevelant whenever you shoot with him. He is an enthusiastic perfectionist, which make a killer combination for a photographer. He is willing to try anything and everything that the model is comfortable with, no matter how long it takes. I am so grateful I have had as many experiences with Jay as I have and I cannot wait to have many more! His talent is truly astounding.

I am a 40+ woman. I was getting ready to compete in my first "figure" show and was in the best shape of my life. Getting older, I knew that level of shape wouldn't last so I wanted a professional photographer not a friend of a friend. My friend Carrie suggested that I try her photographer, Jay Philbrick. I was nervous about it all so Carrie went with me and stayed with me. That was FOUR sessions ago! Jay is epitomizes professionalism. He has tons of cameras with the latest $$$ lenses and can seemingly draw out the very best of you in such amazing ways. Sometimes his lovely wife Victoria will jump for lighting duty and she too is as comfortable to be around as a person could hope for. His hom...
