Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

The great: location and view are sublime. Amazing and the highlight of our stay. Close to hiking trails and the Cog Railway. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her day at the Spa, completely satisfied and happy! The hotel itself is worth the visit for its historical value. The large veranda was exceptional to have snacks and sip some beverages. The not so great: Three major food / bar service areas were closed during our stay. Essentially Stickney's, was the only full service restaurant that was open inside the main hotel. It was highly overpriced for food that was only average. The menu is limited, and two nights of our stay multiple items were not available. Additionally, numerous areas of the ho...

The Omni Mt. Washington hotel is a legend, and for many good reasons. The location is unparalleled. The facility is exquisite. The service is old-school perfect. The dining atmosphere is pure class. I was even impressed to find the facility being upgraded while were were there. Very impressed that Omni is not just profit taking and resting on the reputation, but improving & preserving that reputation.

Love this Hotel, the location, the grounds, the history, all excellent. Now my only complaint it would be the indoor pool. Oh boy it needs some renovation, improving the lighting putting some planters redo the floors with some nice period accurate tiles perhaps? Or modern tiles. Also it smelled bad and the water was murkey, it looked so uninviting. On a different note the hotel room doors are the loudest doors ever, (not just my room, I could hear the other doors at all times) specially trying to sneak out of the room with a toddler lol. (My wife was in the room) Then the food was just ok, but your so mesmerized by the views that doesn't even matter. Definitely would stay again 👍

I was looking forward to staying at this beautiful, well-known historic hotel, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel is currently under construction, making it very loud from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day. The beds felt old and uncomfortable, several electrical outlets in our room did not work, and the overall property seemed poorly maintained and managed. The food was disappointing at every restaurant we tried. Orders frequently arrived incorrect, and the quality did not match the reputation or price point of the hotel. The lost the pre-ordered birthday cake. The beverage program also needs significant improvement, particularly the wine and tequila sel...

We booked through our credit card and apparently booked in the Bretton Woods building down the hill. The room had a smell to it and wasn't the nice room pictured when we booked. Admittedly that's more a problem with where we booked. Still disappointing for a $400 room. We tried to go to Fabyan's Station (owned and operated by the resort) but ended up leaving after sitting for 10 minutes with no service. A good portion of the tables were covered in dirty dishes. The table that the waitress took our menus from had 2 full beers sitting on it from others who apparently had enough. While waiting to be seated, there was a man walking around with a credit card trying to pay. Rumor has it he's sti...

How far is this from home?

Pick the city you and most of your guests will be driving from and we will estimate the trip.

An estimate for planning, not live traffic. Leafy weekends in October always take longer.
