Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Okemo was my first Vermont ski experience, and it absolutely delivered. I took the Paragon Sports bus up from New York for what I believe was a three-day weekend, skied Saturday and Sunday, maybe squeezed in a half day Monday, and came back that afternoon. It was definitely cold, but we caught beautiful sun and good conditions, so the whole trip felt worth it almost immediately. Jackson Gore was the highlight for me. The day we were there, it was pretty empty, and we were able to lap that area over and over again with no real lift line. There is a particular kind of joy in skiing 10 to 20 uninterrupted laps when the sun is out, the snow is holding up, and nobody is making you fight for spac...

Aside from the prices being astronomical. The resort is great. Trails for all levels of skiers/boarders. Ski patrol is great and very friendly (as long as you are). Views are amazing for east coast skiing. Prices are rough but I will absolutely be back.

I really enjoyed my time at Okemo Mountain Resort. I spent most of my day skiing around the Jackson Gore area, and Upper Sapphire ended up being one of my favorite runs—great flow and really enjoyable in spring conditions. I also rode the Sunburst Six Express (I think that’s the one), and it was smooth and quick—definitely a highlight for getting laps in. Even though it was spring skiing in April, the mountain still had good snow with a nice soft top layer, which made for a fun and relaxed day. The overall vibe was pretty mellow , lots of older skiers, not too crowded, and a very easygoing atmosphere. One unexpected highlight was the Waffle Cabin right on the mountain ,fresh waffles while...

I've attended, in 'May of 25 & '26, the Benefit Concert event for the Divided Sky Foundation which runs a chill rehab in Ludlow. It's called Music on the Mountain and has had an exceptional lineup both years (this year's All-Star Afterparty was remarkably good). The lodge courtyard setting at Jackson Gore is a comfortable outdoor space and the largest substance free music event in the country is super nice with lots of of good folks attending. I look forward to supporting Divided Sky there again next year.

Family of 6 with ages ranging from 17-6. Skied 2 days. All advanced skiers had a great time despite the rain the night before. Lots of trails and no wait for lifts. Was disappointed that all the ‘non skier’ activities had closed the few days prior. That was one of the reasons we chose okemo in the first place. We did decide to sign up our newly 6 year old for the lessons. I was a bit in sticker shock over the price but 9-2:30 and lunch included. Our son was a bit nervous about going but had a great time! Small group of 4 kids with 1 instructor and the instructors give you a recap of how your child did that day. Discount for the lesson with an epic pass. Waffle cabin was a hit for a quick sna...
