Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a entertainment partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Danny made what I thought would be the most stressful part of planning our wedding an absolute breeze! We had a very untraditional wedding, but Danny made it nothing short of spectacular. My husband and I were torn between having a band, a DJ, or a mix of both, but we ultimately decided on a DJ for cost reasons—and let me tell you, we never once regretted it. From the planning stages to the day itself, Danny was the ultimate professional, completely on top of everything. His experience truly shows, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Throughout the night, our guests kept telling us that they had never in a million years had so much fun at a wedding, all thanks to Danny’s energ...

DJ Danny did an outstanding job with our wedding in Bar Harbor. He listened to all of our requests and provided plenty of input where we were unsure. He even listened to all of our requested songs for the ceremony and picked the best moment in each song to start to integrate music seamlessly in the wedding. Would absolutely recommend him for anyone that is interested!

Danny is phenomenal at what he does! He made all of our wedding dreams come true. Perfectly executed ceremony cues and music flow. A beautiful dinner set. And the best dance party! As an MC and human he is kind, genuine and professional. His musicality and transitions were so impressive and he captured exactly what we wanted for our 2000's hip hop dance floor. Would recommend Danny and Northeast Events to anyone!

Dan was so so great to work with! I threw something very unique at him to accomplish and he delivered! As soon as I get my video from my videographer I will update my review with the YouTube link I made a special performance for my husband and Dan was in charge of making a light show that went with our choreography, he did such a perfect job! My venue even told me the wrong dance floor size but he problem solved without involving me and still made my performance look amazing🙏 again, when I get more photos / videos back from my vendors I’ll update my reviews! Communication with him was easy and no stress on me Thanks for everything Danny!

Working with Danny was absolutely seamless and so easy! Planning a wedding has so many moving parts, and arguably the DJ is one of the most important and we could not be more pleased with how well he did. He worked with our day of coordinator, and photographer so well, it took the pressure off of us! We would recommend Danny for ANY meaningful event anyone may have, he truly takes the time to get to know you and deliver all that you could ask for and more. We love Danny!
