Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I booked a room here for my parents for a little Vermont getaway. I wanted something tucked away in nature that had amenities and included breakfast for them. They absolutely loved staying here. My mom had so many nice things to say about the couple running the lodge. My parents called Mountain Meadows Lodge “a beautiful and relaxing place and worth every dollar for the amenities and delicious homemade breakfast.” My dad has always wanted to try paddleboarding and he was able to use one of their paddleboards for free on the beautiful pond. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time! Victoria and Mike were welcoming and attentive and made us feel at home. They established such a comfortable atmosphere, that it almost felt like we were visiting their home. Like a B&B but with the most relaxed and comfortable owners and the benefits of a hotel (as far as the privacy of the hotel room). We will definitely go back! Thank you, Victoria and Mike!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mountain Meadows Lodge! Victoria & Mike made us feel like family, as if we were coming home. Their hospitality is an 11 on a scale from 1-10, and everything they do is with such kindness, from the beautiful and spotless rooms to the home cooked breakfast, and all the facilities, you have to come experience it! These two individuals are such gems who deserve an A+ in making our stay amazing.
