Planning perspective
What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a venue partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

We recently had our wedding at Misselwood Estate, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue and the staff. First, the property is absolutely stunning. The ocean views, estate grounds, and reception tent created such a beautiful setting for our wedding. Our guests were blown away and kept asking how we found this hidden gem. Multiple people told us it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever attended. From the moment I started working with Tara, I knew we were in good hands. Wedding planning inevitably comes with unexpected challenges and family drama, and Tara handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and calm. She was always responsive, thorough, and in...

Misselwood is easily one of my favorite venues to photograph weddings at. The coastal views are incredible, the rooms for getting ready are beautiful, and the ceremony space overlooking the water is tough to beat. The reception tent is a great setup, and the staff is beyond wonderful to work with every time I'm there. I'm always excited when I get the chance to photograph here!!

We usually perform for weddings at Misselwood a couple times a year; this year we've already been there 3 times with a few more scheduled before we wrap up the 2026 wedding season. Aside from being a stunning property to have your wedding, you'll be working with a venue team that completely understands event flow so you can remain calm and present on your wedding day! Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces are all set and ready to go by the time your guests arrive, the food is chef's kiss delicious and the atmosphere is always just right! If beautiful sites and effortless flow are your vibe, we recommend checking out Misselwood Events at Endicott College. They also host an annual s...

The light, the scenery, and the atmosphere come together perfectly, it’s one of those venues that never fails to deliver beautiful moments and timeless images.

We photographed a summer wedding at the beautiful Misselwood Estate at Endicott College in Beverly. I cannot say enough about this North Shore wedding venue – the mansion & grounds are meticulously-maintained, the staff is kind and beyond helpful, and the view is perfection. The food at Misselwood rivaled the view!
