Planning perspective

What to consider before reaching out

A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.

For a entertainment partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Mike was the DJ for our wedding in Harpswell, and he was fantastic! He was so flexible and knowledgable during the planning process, and he was so accommodating on the day-of. He did an amazing job coordinating with our friend who played violin at our ceremony, and he did a great job throughout the rest of the night. The music was fun, and everyone had a great time. Thank you so much, Mike, for being an integral part of our wedding!

When thinking of a DJ for our wedding my fiancé and I really just didn’t want it to feel like a high school dance. Someone yelling at us while dancing. Mike with M&M Entertainment was far from that and entertained our wedding day perfectly. We was organized, talked through timing of walking down the aisle, all the song choices we wanted to hear and was a ball of sunshine through it all. He absolutely crushed it and seemed to have a blast while doing so. Something to mention is that through it all we had a payment mishap which when you’re paying wedding bills you know can be stressful. Mike was so understand and made sure that we got it handled the best way for both parties which we truly app...

We had the opportunity to work with the Wicked Good DJ for our wedding. Mike went above and beyond our expectations and brought the house down with a mix of incredibly niche orchestral renditions of favorite songs for our ceremony, to playing RATM, Pixies, and more during our reception. We will never forget the looks of delight and disbelief on our guests faces when certain jams came on, and the floor was packed right to the last dance. Thank you so much, Mike. You really made the night "us."

We couldn't be happier that we chose Mike to be our wedding reception DJ! From his attentiveness to our needs, quick response with emails, professionalism, great ideas and genuine care in making sure our day went perfectly, he completely blew us away. Mike was so fun to work with throughout the whole process, providing us with great tips and feedback. He made us feel so comfortable and in great hands, which was extremely helpful since planning a wedding is no easy feat! We met with him twice prior to our wedding and he was able to accommodate our schedule, even with us living in a different state. When our big day finally came around, Mike was there for us with everything we needed. Our rece...

We LOVED partnering with Mike as our wedding DJ! From the very first phone call through the end of the event he was on the ball, enthusiastic, organized, optimistic and helpful! We had a unique situation getting married off the coast of Maine on an island where no cars were allowed. This had posed to be a problem for a number of the DJ's we had reached out to - but when we were introduced to Mike we knew it was going to be a fit right away. He was excited and prepared for the potential challenges an event like this could provide, but game for the adventure. He checked in with us and other vendors necessary to get organized. He also worked closely with our friend who was going to be sup...
