What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a hair & beauty partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

I worked with Daisy Hanson for hair from LSB and she was truly amazing. She was flexible and adaptable with my long hair and desire for extensions and a blowout on very long hair. She even came to my ceremony venue after it finished for a second hairstyle and completed it standing on the stairs outside in Harvard square in the middle of our photos. All of my bridesmaids were raving about how much they loved their hair. Daisy was so lovely to be around and even stayed after initial getting ready to help me put my mantilla veil in. She went above and beyond to help me have the look I wanted and never made it seem like a big lift even though it required so much work. Can't recommend Daisy enoug...

Working with Lyndsay and her team was a great experience. They are all total pros who made me and my family and bridesmaids feel gorgeous on my wedding day. Getting ready with the important women in my life was something I was looking forward to, Lyndsays team of four were perfect. They were on time, prepared, and supportive and upbeat all morning. Everyone from my sister in law in her late 20s, to my 89 year old grandmother felt and looked beautiful! My mom and husbands mom were a little nervous to have their makeup professionally done for the first time. Eliza and Lyndsay were patient, thoughtful, and kind in their approach - and both moms left their appointments glowing and feeling confi...

I had a wonderful experience working with Lyndsay and her team. Lyndsay knows the wedding beauty business forwards and backwards and that was clear from our first conversation. It was so freeing to be able to trust her and her team fully to make sure we looked our best on the big day! I loved the way she is able to achieve very natural glam bridal looks and I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day. Our trial session was great, Lyndsay listened to my thoughts on what I wanted for makeup and was really helpful with suggestions and inspiration based on my skin tone and hair/eye colors. She was also very thoughtful with how she picked our hair stylist, Kelly, who was al...

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Lyndsay and her team at Lyndsay Simon Beauty. They all have the sweetest personalities and their talent is unmatched! Lyndsay was amazing from the first time we spoke on the phone- it felt like I was talking to a friend. At my trial with Lyndsay and Alicia, they took the time to make sure I loved everything about my look for the wedding day. They made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt and got me so excited for full glam on my wedding day. On my wedding day, the team was awesome all around. They did a great job doing hair and makeup for 9 people, and making sure everyone felt beautiful when they left the chair. Even the ladie...

I have had the pleasure of knowing Lyndsay since middle school, and watched her makeup career bloom on social media. Seeing her work with with many brides throughout the years, I knew for a long time before getting married that she would be my makeup artist! No regrets- she was amazing as expected. Zero stress. She did makeup for myself, my mother, and 5 bridesmaids- everyone felt absolutely beautiful. You are amazing at what you do Lyndsay!
