What to consider before reaching out
A strong first conversation is about fit, not just availability. Share your date, approximate guest count, location, and the feeling you want the day to have. Ask what is included, what typically changes the final quote, and what decisions need to be made earliest.
For a photo & video partner, confirm how communication works, who will be present on the day, and how the team handles changes. Pricing was not included in the supplied research, so request a current, itemized proposal directly from the business.

Lydia is simply, hands down, the BEST. I have worked with her on numerous projects and every time she blows me away with her talent. Lydia is a true artist and cares deeply about every single photo. Every shoot I have with Lydia she makes everyone around her feel safe, welcomed and comfortable. She is always organized, on time, professional, caring and consistent. Lydia takes time to understand who is in front of the camera and authentically tells the story through photos. Brilliant work, incredible artist and wonderful and honest business owner.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Lydia for our family photos out on the Cape, and I truly can’t recommend her enough! From start to finish, communication was smooth and effortless. She was incredibly flexible - even when we changed the location the day before, she handled it with no issue. During the shoot, Lydia made the entire experience easy and enjoyable, even with a 3-month-old baby in tow. The photos turned out beautifully, and we’re already looking forward to having her capture more special moments for our family in the future!

Definitely recommend this company!! We used Lydia Leclair Photography for senior photos and Lydia was so nice and so fun to work with .... it was almost like she knew my daughter! All her poses were exactly what my teen was looking for (and we all know how picky our teens are about pictures) she saw rain in the forecast and called right away for a better date and I was so thankful for her flexibility!!! Lydia’s response back and forth with us was prompt and easy..... she had our photos ready for us faster than I expected... logging on to her page was simple! Edits were quick and I had all my photos within a weeks time! I highly recommend this photographer!!!

Lydia did an amazing job with our family shoot! She’s so intuitive with toddlers and babies, and we’re thrilled with our photos which are casual, clever, and fun, and she captured the gorgeous beach landscape perfectly. We highly recommend Lydia—responds quickly and the work is beautifully done!
